Hello, I’m Gwen. I’m an Artist, Yoga Therapist, and Body and Movement-Focused Psychotherapist.

I am passionate about supporting people to find ways to feel more comfortable in themselves, in their bodies, and in the world. I offer spaces where the body, movement and creative process can be used to explore and express feelings, stories and experiences in safe and contained ways.

In my classes, workshops and therapy, I aim to create an environment which nurtures deep connection, encourages new ways of relating to self, others and the wider world, and supports the development of the inner resources needed to hold both the joys and the challenges of life.

I have an MA in Dance Movement Psychotherapy from the University of Roehampton and am accredited by ADMP. I am also a qualified Yoga Therapist with the Minded Institute.  My training in yoga therapy has had an emphasis on yoga therapy for mental health, attachment, PTSD, trauma, and women’s health. I am also a BFA registered Focusing Practitioner, a practising artist, and a mother.

I work from a trauma-informed, person-centred approach, where both verbal and non-verbal communication are welcomed. I work one-to-one with people and with groups. I have experience of working in inpatient mental health services, community mental health services, as well as in other social sector and charity settings. I have been offering yoga therapy in private practice since 2019.
